Our workshops are tailored to provide a unique learning experience through interactive and hands-on activities. The main language during camp is English. Students with basic everyday knowledge of English are welcome to join us, as participants will improve their English naturally throughout the camp.

IMD Business School

One of the world’s top business management universities, IMD is known for its leadership programmes and innovation in business education. Campers will benefit from workshops facilitated by IMD Learning Managers and certified coaches who specialise in experiential learning adapted to teenagers.

In 2024, the Financial Times ranked the MBA programme of IMD #1 worldwide for faculty with PhD, international faculty and international students. 


EHL Hospitality Business School (École Hôtelière de Lausanne)

The leading hospitality management school, EHL is famous for training the world’s top leaders in service excellence, innovation and entrepreneurship. Campers will get a taste of EHL’s hands-on approach to leadership, etiquette and manners. For the last six years in a row (2019 – 2024), EHL was ranked #1 hospitality management university worldwide, according to the QS World University Rankings.

frequently asked questions

  • What is your phone policy?
    Your child is welcome to bring a mobile phone or iPad. However, to ensure they make the most of their time at camp, we limit the use of electronics to designated times during the day. 
  • What is your cancellation policy?

    The initial down payment of CHF 1,000 is non-refundable.

    If a cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the camp: 50% cancellation fee.

    If a cancellation is made 59 days or fewer before the camp: None of the camp fees will be refunded.

  • Which airport should my child fly to?

    Geneva Airport is the nearest, located about 45 minutes away.

    Only transfers to and from Geneva airport are included on arrival and departure dates during these times:

    • Flight arrivals: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

    • Flight departures: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

    An additional fee applies if arrival/departure from a different day/hour. 

  • Can my child travel alone?
    The minimum age for travelling alone varies by airline and country of departure. If your child is under 15, they may travel using the Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service. If you’re interested in this service, please notify us, as the airline may require additional information from our side. In Europe, children aged 12 and older (15 for certain airlines) are generally allowed to travel alone. Please note that the UM Service may incur additional fees from both the airline and Collège Champittet.
  • What kind of food is served at camp?
    Our food is freshly prepared by our chef, who is committed to ensuring the quality and flavour of our meals. We always have a vegetarian option, and we accommodate allergies and dietary requirements.  
     
  • Do you have a nurse on campus?
    Our school nurse is on campus every day until 10:00 pm and on call during the night. Any prescribed medication is kept by the nurse, and she makes sure campers take their medication. We are in contact with local doctors for any serious issues.
  • Can my child choose their roommate?
    If your child would like to share the room with a friend, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it. We aim to mix different nationalities when organising room planning.
  • Where do campers sleep?
    Campers stay in our Boarding House, located in the historical building of Collège Champittet. There are two floors for girls and two floors for boys. Most rooms are doubles, though some are triples, and campers are assigned rooms based on age, gender and nationality.
  • Can I get a Visa Support Letter?
    Yes, our team will be happy to provide a Visa Support Letter. Please note that we can only issue this letter after the full camp fee has been paid.

Founded in 1903, Collège Champittet has been providing outstanding education to both local and international students for over a century. Set in the beautiful surroundings between the mountains and Lake Geneva, the school offers a safe and stimulating environment for our day and boarding students. We are a Swiss school with a strong international outlook.
