We are pleased to announce that all 25 candidates for the 2023 Swiss Maturité have obtained their demanding diploma: 100% success for an inclusive school is a magnificent achievement to be celebrated.
The scores obtained by the Champitéens are once again well above the average score for the session (private schools in French-speaking Switzerland). A Champitean obtains the second best score of the session with 119.5 points, which is the second best score ever obtained by a student of the school.
This is the third time in 6 years that all students have obtained their Matu, compared to 1x during the previous half century! The reforms initiated by our Swiss Maturity Dean Daniel Zumbrunnen are bearing fruit.
Note also that the February results, over two years now, are even better than when the school presented its candidates in September, with 6 months less of preparation. The optimisation of course progressions and the additional hours committed by the school are also bearing fruit. These students now have 6 months before entering university, rested after a long summer. Some of them will choose to follow the university preparatory course offered by the school, others will go on internships in companies or on trips.
Congratulations to the students for their hard work and their mastery of 12 subjects in total! Congratulations to their teachers, who accompanied them literally to the door of the exam room, like no other school does. And congratulations to the parents, because nothing is possible without your support and trust.
We are proud to announce that Collège Champittet has once again been ranked among the 100 leading private schools in the world by the Spear’s Schools Index!
At Collège Champittet, our culture of lifelong learning includes our teachers just as much as our students. Learning doesn’t stop when we leave the classroom or when the school day ends.
At Collège Champittet, our annual Career Day gives students a valuable opportunity to meet professionals from diverse industries and explore their future goals.
On 15 March 2025, music lovers at Collège Champittet were treated to an exceptional concert by Franco-Italian mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre and French lutenist Thomas Dunford.
