The challenge of this year's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) competition revolved around the extreme climate changes occurring on Earth.
In this multidisciplinary group project, students from grades 6 to 10 first chose a country, then each class presented the identity of that country in terms of its cultural, geographical, political, artistic, food and sports characteristics, etc., to finally assess the impact of climate change and solutions to it.
As a culmination of this cross-curricular project-based learning, the students presented their work to a jury at the STEAM Fair event on 13 May.
A fantastic team project that has culminated in a wonderful exhibition. Congrats to the 1st price winners, the 9A class representing Japan! They have won a 1,000 CHF voucher for a class trip.
