Join our next Open Day
The challenge of this year's STEAM-Fair competition focuses on the extreme climate changes that are occurring on Earth. This activity is part of the annual project which brings together different disciplines such as computer sciences, chemistry, geography and communication skills among others.
On the fair’s first day in November, students in grades 6-10 chose a country representing a continent and each class presented the identity of that country in terms of its own characteristics (arts and culture, geography, politics, gastronomy, food, sports etc.) but more importantly the impact of climate change possibilities.
This month, our pupils from classes 6 to 10 have explored the relationship between weather events and the water cycle. During this day, our students had to complete and film a scientific experiment that explained the relationship between the water cycle and a weather event of their choice.
More than 500 NAE students worldwide – including 25 of our own students from Collège Champittet played over 2,000 games of chess during the global online chess tournament !
In the race to ensure that students have mastered their various subjects, there is a skill that schools sometimes overlook: learning how to learn.
