The Champittet foundation raises more than 11,000 CHF for Lebanon The Champittet Foundation —with the extraordinary support of the entire school community—organised a fundraising event and a Christmas Market in favour of Lebanese children.

The Champittet Foundation —with the extraordinary support of the entire school community—organised a fundraising event and a Christmas Market in favour of Lebanese children. Children's crafts, Christmas decorations and pastries were sold on campus before the holidays. 

 

The members of the Champittet Foundation were hoping to raise CHF 10,000 for this charity action but the invaluable support of the Champittet community exceeded all the expectations and a total of 11,273 CHF were raised. 

 

Funds will be used to offer children a daily balanced meal at school, which will help immensely reduce malnutrition, fight abstenteeism, and give them the chance to achieve better school performance in a country where the poverty rate has reached 82% in 2021.
