Art Basel - Nov 2021

Art Basel This month, four students from class 14 International Baccalaureate visited two spaces, Art Unlimited with individual artists displaying their work and two floors full of galleries. 

Art Basel is a for-profit, privately owned and managed, international art fair staged annually in Basel, Switzerland. This month, four students from class 14 International Baccalaureate visited two spaces, Art Unlimited with individual artists displaying their work and two floors full of galleries. 

 

The once in a lifetime opportunity of visiting the biggest art fair in the world! The students were given the privilege to see art that conceptually inspired them in their own art-making practice for the upcoming IB exhibition. As Visual Arts students they were able to be exposed to different cultures which gave them perspective regarding the art world.

 

The group was accompanied by their art teacher Ms Colin and by Mrs Sikora, the English and IT teacher:
