The lively Music programme of the Summer School is designed to ignite students' love for music through various engaging and interactive learning activities. Students will enjoy music together by singing, moving, and playing various instruments such as the ukulele, djembe drums, taiko drums, xylophone, and percussion instruments, and creating music with music technology.
The goal of our Summer School’s Music Programme is to develop creativity and foster a lifelong passion for music in students through diverse musical experiences and various instruments. In addition to acoustic instruments, students also collaboratively create music using the GarageBand app on iPads, learning about remixing and composing music for films.
Under the enthusiastic guidance of Mr. Rhys Barker, Assistant Head of Primary Music at the British International School (BIS), lively lessons with rich learning materials and a variety of instruments have created an exciting learning environment. Here, our students are free to explore their musical abilities, confidently express themselves, and effectively collaborate with peers to create wonderful musical melodies!
