BVIS are incredibly proud to share with our community, this article by Nguyen Khac Hai Linh, a graduate of the class of 2020. He is currently in his Sophomore year at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), majoring in Communication & Design. Lately, Hai Linh astonished everyone by bringing home the first medal for Vietnam in the Young Stars AD Competition 2022.
With the submitted work, '𝙐𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣", Hai Linh and his teammates represented Vietnam by winning the bronze medal in the Professional Communication Student category. University students from around the world come together in this international advertising playground, which AD STARS FESTIVAL has created, to submit their creative ideas based on the theme of the contest. The submitted works are fairly judged by global in-service advertising experts and leading creative directors.
In 2022 alone, Hai Linh has taken part in 5 Marketing competitions on the same scale as Young Stars AD Competition 2022 and attained other outstanding achievements such as:
After each competition, Linh accumulates new experiences for himself and broadens his advertising contacts and network. Moreover, he has the opportunity to connect and talk with renowned international experts to learn more practical experience in this creative industry as well as progress and advance further on his career path.
During his study time at BVIS, Hai Linh was supported and advised by subject teachers in making an informed choice that fitted his future plan based on his passions, interests, and aptitudes. Hai Linh obtained distinctive marks in the subject of Media Studies at AS Level and received the High Achievement Award in Vietnam from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), under the guidance and companionship of Ms Claire Donnelly, Media Studies teacher.
The outstanding achievements at BVIS has no doubt been the launching pad to give Hai Linh more motivation and a solid foundation to continue fueling his passion for Communication.
