At the Secondary, our students will follow the English National Curriculum, which culminates in their IGCSE exams and A-Levels programmes. Our school offer to students the highest number of IGCSE and A-Levels courses in Vietnam: 17 IGCSE courses, 16 A-Levels courses, more than 260 course combinations based on the student’s study ability and choices in university pathways, therefore equipping students with knowledge and skills for admission to prestigious universities globally.

BVIS students can also choose Vietnamese subjects in their IGCSE and A-Levels curriculums, such as Vietnamese Humanities, Vietnamese Literature, Vietnamese Language, to learn more about the Vietnamese heritage and nurture their Vietnamese perspective, thereby making their university applications standout among other candidates.

BVIS Hanoi is the only international school in Vietnam offering Further Mathematics in the A-Levels curriculum, taught by our high experienced and knowledgeable Math teachers. Further Mathematics is a deeper look into mathematics which introduces some higher-level pure Maths, statistics and mechanics, covers a range of complex topics, including advanced calculus, differential equations, and abstract algebra. Therefore, studying Further Mathematics in A-Levels curriculum is excellent preparations for a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Business, or Computer Sciences in prestigious universities, such as University of Oxford, Cambridge University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Further Mathematics is a fundamental subject and an academic requirement when applying to their programmes.
