EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE (EYFS) CURRICULUM

In our secure yet stimulating Early Years setting, our children learn through purposeful play. Themed activities pique our youngest learners’ curiosity and ignite imaginations as they work towards the seven EYFS curriculum milestones. At this formative stage, students learn in both English and Vietnamese.

At the British Vietnamese International School Hanoi, our 2 to 5-year-old students follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. A predominately play-based education, our British-style Early Years programme nurtures our youngest learners’ creativity and curiosity, as well as providing firm academic foundations.

In our dedicated early years environment, our specialist teachers will guide your child through the seven key EYFS learning goals.

They do this through our innovative phonics programme, which uses a single approach to develop vital communication and comprehension skills. By the time they move into Primary, our talented young learners are able to seamlessly switch between both languages.

It’s time for some purposeful play! There’s lots of fun to be had sliding, climbing, and peddling around our garden play area, which develops vital motor and movement skills, or painting, sculpting, and crafting in our classrooms.
