Throughout the academic year 2023-2024, the Community Service Programme and Service-Learning has been and is an integral part of the curriculum at BVIS Hanoi. Projects such as Developing the Floating Village, Tet Shoes Boxes, Teaching English for children in needed, successfully being granted £16K by Nord Anglia Education Group for a student-led project, have allowed our students to learn about the importance of reducing inequality, giving them practical experience and opportunities to embark on ambitious projects to improve the lives of local people who are less fortunate, while applying their knowledge into practices.
Organised by ISC Research in January every year, and followed by the international schools community, media and associations, the International School Awards spotlight inspiring initiatives developed and run by international school leaders, educators and students, as well as highlighting the school's community good practice, creative endeavours and innovation.
On 6 February, Mr. John Gwyn Jones MBE, CEO of Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) sent a congratulatory letter to BVIS Hanoi to share this amazing achievement.
Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) is a prestigious federation of over 90 of the best British International schools in the region. As a member of the federation, students of BVIS Hanoi will be offered opportunities to join various sports activities and learning opportunities with other international schools across many countries.
