Our students have been learning about environmental issues, culminating in raising awareness in our local community with a fun Flash Mob appearing at Royal City, people were surprised and amused to see our students and teachers dancing in Penguin costumes.

Our students have been learning about environmental issues, culminating in raising awareness in our local community with a fun Flash Mob appearing at Royal City, people were surprised and amused to see our students and teachers dancing in Penguin costumes.
Fun times at Early Years
At the Early Years Centre we have also been looking at the Environment and we have created our very own green area to grow our own plants.
3 raised beds have been built for organic vegetables and herbs, free from chemicals and pesticides to promote healthy eating and show where our food comes from.
We are also looking at planting flowers to add a fun splash of colour by re-using old tyres, all our children have had fun helping to paint them.
We hope to encourage butterflies to visit the playground with the beautiful fragrance of the flowers and it will be wonderful for the children to experience the different smells, tastes and textures of the herbs and vegetables grown in our very own Early Years Garden.
