Sometimes, you just have great weeks. As I write this, we are right in the centre of the CIS visit to determine suitability for the accreditation process. Parents will find in time, once it has been translated the presentation that lead member of School improvement and Evaluation, Dr Graham Ranger, presented to staff last night. In his presentation, he spoke about the sweep of the organisation globally, the scope of its remit and the processes and outcomes of accreditation. It is such a worthwhile thing for us at this stage of our growth cycle. It does not only validate externally what we recognise to be self-evident truths internally. It also provides your children with the authentication of having attended an outstanding school, and thereby satisfies the Universities of choice of the educational foundations that will be in place as a result of attending our school.
Without doubt there will be areas to work on as we seek to align all of our activities against the worthy aims and objectives or our Mission, Vision and Values. All staff, both Vietnamese and expat, teaching and non-teaching, engaging in conversations with our visitors, have done a marvellous job. They have prepared well for this visit, but also have spoken with great passion, confidence and loyalty about the school community they serve. There is general excitement about the next stage ahead, of the impending self-study and about continuing our journey to excellence as judged by our peers.
