On January 28, 2025, the British School Yangon (BSY) came alive with the vibrant sights and sounds of Chinese New Year! Our community gathered to welcome the Year of the Snake with a series of exciting cultural performances and traditional activities.
A Spectacular Lion & Dragon Dance

The highlight of the event was the breathtaking Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance, a mesmerizing performance that filled the school with energy and good fortune. Students, teachers, and parents watched in awe as the skilled dancers brought the mythical creatures to life, symbolizing wisdom, transformation, and prosperity for the year ahead.

Embracing Cultural Diversity at BSY
