Another victory! BST students participated and won in a Model United Nations Conference at TEAM University on the 10-11th of April.

MUN is in its third year at BST, with this year having the most exceptional outcome. Our students spent two days passionately debating about the most pressing world crises together with other students from all over Uzbekistan. We are proud to announce that six students participated as delegates, two students as chairpersons and three as members of the Secretariat. Our most notable winners are:

Marat Daminov – Best Delegate of Environmental Committee
Abdulaziz Al-Hadab – Best Delegate of Human Rights Council
Dhyey Vank – Honorable Mention of World Health Organization Committee
Ibraheem Andijani – Honorable Mention of Economic and Social Council
Mridula Rout – Verbal Commendations - Human Rights Council
Gleb Shumlyanskii – Best Chair Team Award – Commission on Narcotic Drugs

For some students, it was their first MUN experience, making the wins even more impressive. We are also thrilled that Sabina Y11 chaired the Human Rights Committee and Gleb Y11 was chaired the committee on the Commission on Narcotic Drugs.

We are also extremely proud that the Secretary General of TEAM MUN was Dono Abdurahmanova and the Director Generals were Izora Kayumova and Yamina Davronova, who are our Sixth Form students.

We are anticipating further successes from our students and thank Alice Callinicos for leading the MUN Club at BST and preparing them for MUN conferences.
