Our Key Stage 3 curriculum
Our lower secondary (Key Stage 3) students follow a tailored version of the English National Curriculum. By taking the best elements of this world-renowned curricula and combining them with themes that fit our local and international context, we deliver innovative, challenging and creative programmes.
Students study English, maths, science, geography, history, drama, music, art, computing, modern foreign languages, Mandarin and PE. Much of their learning is done through projects, where students either study individually or in groups, exploring themes that encompass multiple subjects. This multidisciplinary approach teaches students to think 'outside the box’.
As part of our mission to develop truly global citizens, our students also choose to study two languages.
Cultivating independent young minds
We provide a myriad of opportunities for independent learning. Our students assess their own work and identify areas for development, too. We encourage risk-taking and champion innovation in the classroom, and lessons are enriched by collaborations with MIT and The Juilliard School. Your child will also be supported to try different activities in PE, music, art and drama – both in and outside of the classroom.
