We are excited to announce today that our students are once again celebrating outstanding A Level results for the 2023-2024 school year. This year, students achieved an exceptional score of 69% A*/A, well above the UK average of 27.8%.
Kerry Millar - Head of Secondary at BSG said: “Our whole school family are incredibly proud of the achievements of the Class of 2024 on their exceptional A Level results. These results are testament to our Student’s mastery, commitment and great efforts to their subjects and studies, our Expert Teachers who, as ‘Masters of their craft’ have guided the students throughout’, our Support Staff, who have supported in a variety of roles, our Parents, who entrust their most prized possession, their child, to us and finally the Wider Community who continues to provide opportunities and support in a variety of guises to our students. Thanks to its outstanding results, graduating students from BSG have received offers to attend top 100 universities globally. This year, our students are headed to first-choice universities such as: University of Oxford, Imperial College London, LSE, Hong Kong University and many more.
Jiwon, Eason and Bevis, individually secured 3A* 1A in their chosen subjects.
George (2A* - 2A) secured his place at University of Oxford to study Experimental Psychology.
Rolan (2A*/2A) secured her place at Imperial College London to study Biomedical Engineering.
Tim Richardson Principal said ‘BSG has a long history of academic excellence, going back almost 20 years and this year’s results are testimony to the strength of the whole school curriculum, the professionalism of our teachers and the dedication and hard work ethic of our students. I am delighted that the Class of 2024 have taken this big step in creating their future and wish them well as they now progress to universities of their choice in the UK, US, Europe, Asia and Australia’.
The Primary Music Showcase took place on Wednesday, November 15th and was a huge success!
In celebration of St Patrick’s day, 10 members of our Primary Choir were invited to the residence of the British Consul General as part of an event for Chinese - Northern Irish relations.
