The British School of Guangzhou celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2024 with a spectacular ceremony on 20 June at Guangzhou’s Four Seasons Hotel. Our incredible graduates were supported by their parents and teachers through a ceremony filled with hope for the future and an appreciation of all that has been achieved in the past. Senior students Rolan and George reflected on a combined experience of 29 years at BSG, starting in Year 1 and Pre-nursery respectively, and were joined by graduates Federika and Ryan, as part of the BSG Advanced Quintet, performing Vivaldi’s ‘Summer’, and again as a duet performing Ave Maria by Charles Gounod.
This celebration marked the last official occasion the whole Class of 2024 gathered together before their departure to universities worldwide, including Oxford, Imperial London, Edinburgh, Warwick, Bath, Melbourne, Ohio State and Hong Kong University.
Our congratulations to all of the graduates and their families and we hope that you stay in touch with the BSG community here in Guangzhou and all over the world and we’d love to hear all about your experiences, wherever you are in the next few years!
The Primary Music Showcase took place on Wednesday, November 15th and was a huge success!
In celebration of St Patrick’s day, 10 members of our Primary Choir were invited to the residence of the British Consul General as part of an event for Chinese - Northern Irish relations.
