A graduate of Juilliard and a professional Mezzo-Soprano singer, Rachel Calloway is an internationally recognized leading interpreter of contemporary and modern music.
Throughout the day, Rachel ran workshops for our Choir, Chamber Choir, and Into the Woods cast. The children had great fun working together and enjoyed hearing and practicing her tips for singing. The whole school were invited to an end of day concert where the children enjoyed a 45-minute program of classical and contemporary music. Our younger students were particularly entranced while watching Rachel sing, enjoying not just the music, but also her engaging performance style too. There were many questions for Rachel at the end of the concert. The children were keen to know what inspired her to sing, where she had traveled, and what her favorite songs were.
Our student News Team came to interview Rachel at the end of the day so look out for the students’ article coming soon.
