This week our UNICEF Sustainability group and the UNICEF Year 5 ambassadors presented an update to our school community on BIS Houston’s ongoing drive to be more sustainable.
The theme for World Children’s Day this year is ‘Kids Take Over’ and this involved students at BIS Houston creating ways to support UNICEF in delivering sustainable change to positively impact children around the world.
Nov. 11, 1918, at 11 a.m. is a moment in history when the world laid down its arms and tried to start anew. Now, on this same date each year, we spend time to remember those that were lost and those who were never found.
Our BIS Houston College Counsellors are staying connect-ed with our global family of sister schools from British International School of Boston and Washington collaborating on exciting development of College Counseling, education offers and innovative practice.
Congratulations Fernando, Hugo, Josefina & Victor, who are four of 62,000 students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs!
