At the British International School, Ho Chi Minh City we believe there is no limit to what your child can achieve socially, personally and academically. Our students’ outstanding academic results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) reflect our commitment to excellence in this area that place the British International School, Ho Chi Minh City students among the very best worldwide.

For the 2021/22 academic school year, we had our biggest cohort to date of 122 graduating students.  All of our students achieved an incredible pass rate of 100% gaining the full IBDP. A remarkable five students achieved a perfect score of 45. The average IBDP score amongst our students was an outstanding 38 out of 45 points, well above the IB global average of 32 points. Our community was particularly thrilled with 42.6% of our students achieving a point score of 40 or more out of 45, compared to the 7% world average for 2022.

I am absolutely delighted with the outstanding results that this cohort of students have achieved. They have faced the most testing of times over the last two years. Not only have they been undertaking the very challenging IBDP, but they have had to navigate this process under the shadow of a global pandemic. These impressive young people have shown immense resilience and have been deservedly rewarded with these outstanding outcomes. Throughout this process they have been closely supported by their families and the dedicated staff that we have at BIS HCMC. My sincere congratulations to all concerned. - Anthony Rowlands, Principal, BIS HCMC.
