First off, we continue to enhance our curricula thanks to collaborations with world-leading institutions. For our collaboration with The Juilliard School, we are excited to be rolling out our brand new drama programme here at BIS HCMC. Curriculum specialists and artists from Juilliard will also be visiting our school at different times throughout the year. And there will be regional performing arts festivals on offer around the world!
For our collaboration with MIT, another major highlight will once again be STEAM Week @ MIT. There will even be regional STEAM festivals and competitions so that even more students can enjoy this amazing collaboration.
For our collaboration with UNICEF, students will work to meet Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 16. These cover inclusive education and peace and justice, with a strong focus on ending violence against children. We can't wait to see the innovative ideas our students come up with to make an impact on these goals.
For our teachers, there will be even more professional development opportunities with Juilliard and MIT, meaning more students are able to benefit from these unique collaborations.
In terms of Global Campus, NAE students worldwide will be reading books with their peers, including “The Breadwinner” by Deborah Ellis and “Malala’s Magic Pencil” by Malala Yousafzai. Students also have opportunities to connect with the world’s greatest writers, illustrators and thinkers either face to face, online, or through our Meet the Writer events.
Other group-wide events include regional sporting events, the life-changing NAE expeditions to Tanzania and Les Martinets, and the Global Games in The Americas Region and China.
We’re proud of our fantastic offerings this year and can’t wait to get started. Let's be truly ambitious for the year ahead!
