After just 2 weeks of the collection, we managed to get 3112 toothpastes! This is such an amazing number that will allow us to give at least one toothpaste for every patient during the medical expedition this July.
We will go to Quang Nam Province with a group of 50 doctors from The NGO “Vietnam Health Clinic”. This medical expedition will last 8 days and 2400 poor people will receive medical check. After that, they will receive a “gift” bag with important items such as rice, blankets, toothbrushes and, of course, toothpastes.
We would like to thank all campuses at BIS HCMC for supporting and allowing us to do this project; the Student Leadership Team and Abhay Panot (Year 10) for helping us with the communication; and all students, teachers and parents who have contributed to make this collection a success!
