Dear Parents,
Dear Parents,
It has been an exciting week as we returned after the midterm break with entry points, museum visits, and students diving straight back into learning. As we return to school after a holiday, it is also a chance to reset and refocus; think about those expectations that help us perform better and build better habits. Our learning behaviour is practiced every day and during lessons to ensure we remain focused, listen, engage, and are active in our learning. Our praise system, Class Dojo, is used to celebrate behaviour and effort every day. The students have had a great week back at school.
On Monday, we are celebrating Halloween at BIS. Our fantastic Friends of BIS committee spook-tacular event in the form of a reverse ‘trick or treat’. Everyone—staff, students, and parents—is invited to dress up in fun Halloween costumes while parents travel around the primary school delivering treats. A huge thank you to everyone that has donated sweets for this event. We really appreciate your kindness and can’t wait to see the dramatic costumes and scary outfits as we all enjoy a bit of fun!
Good luck to all our students swimming at the Gala this weekend - go Lionhearts!
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
