"As a parent of BIS Hanoi British International School and the organiser of this year's International Festival's hand embroidery workshop, I am very happy and honoured to be a part of such an important programme. I am delighted that everyone, even the foreign families, could enjoy the traditional Vietnamese hand embroidery art. This will undoubtedly be a memorable memory for Tiem Tho and my family at BIS Hanoi," said Ms. Nguyen Tho Tho, Vietnamese parent of the school.
"It was an honour to help organise a Korean cultural booth this year. First off, I would like to express a huge thanks to Year 7 Korean parents for their efforts in making this event a success! We had lots of fun doing traditional Korean games such as Jaegi, slap-match, Dalgona, arm wrestling, and making a spinning top and Korean flag. Also, we could not miss trying Hanbok, Korean tattoos, and enjoying K-pop dance performances by Year 7 students. Especially Sunhee Hwang, a representative of Year 7 Korean parents, Sumi Lee and Panim Seo had such a busy time planning and preparing the event by visiting Phố Hàng Mã many times and collecting items from Korea. We hope to continue giving many BIS families good experiences of Korea in the future,” said Ms. Kyungmin Kim, representative of the Korean parents.
"Me and my children were very happy and honored to take part in this event and be able to show a little bit more about Mexico as well as to learn more about our community's home countries. Thank you BIS for creating such an enjoyable event,” Ms. Xochitl Herrmann, one of our parents from Mexico shared.
We're grateful to all the participants, volunteers, sponsors, booth partners and attendees who made this event an unforgettable experience. Thank you for joining us in creating cherished memories and fostering a sense of global community and a place to belong right here at BIS Hanoi.
