Dear Parents,
Dear Parents,
It’s been a busy week in the Primary school, with CCA starting, reading workshops, and Moon Festival activities all taking place in addition to our regular curriculum, teaching, and learning.
The Moon Festival is a special time in our community, and the colour array of Ao Dai on display in the annual Moon Festival assembly was just spectacular. Bright colours, beautiful dancing, and celebrating together as an international community—it's one of my favourite times of year.
Ms. Lucy, our Key Stage 1 and Early Years literacy leader, delivered a fantastic parent-connect session on reading this week. With a fantastic turnout from parents featuring drop-ins to lessons and exciting activities for parents to experience learning like the children do, it was a wonderful morning of learning all around.
All the preparations are underway for our International Festival next weekend, a jam-packed morning of culture, shopping, delicious food, and performances from our primary students. We can’t wait for another BIS community event and look forward to Primary International Week, which takes place in the final week of this half term.
Finally, it is wonderful to see the return of our Primary spotlight on learning. This is an opportunity to share the learning from each year group across the primary school. Click below to enjoy.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
