Dear Parents,
As we move towards the end of this incredible academic year, there is much to celebrate. Teachers, Teaching assistants, Phase leaders, Ms. Cabanne, and myself have been celebrating the progress of each and every one of our children over the last week. We review all their attainment, progress, effort, and attitude toward learning, and we are incredibly proud! Success is different for all of us at different points in our learning journey, but every of our students has reason to celebrate.
This afternoon, it was time to celebrate our Year 6 students as they come to the end of their time in the primary school. The Year 6 teachers prepared a wonderful farewell assembly full of memoirs and reflections on their time at BIS over the years. Following on from the success of their Year 6 Production, ‘Into the Woods," we enjoyed a reprise of their favorite song as well as other performances. Mr. Newman was delighted to formally welcome the Year 6 students into the secondary school, who had also enjoyed their taster day visit on Thursday morning.
Next week, we have our final whole school principals’ award assembly and look forward to the arrival of our BIS Yearbook!
