Key Dates | Primary Learning Highlight
Dear Parents,
As we come to the end of another term, this week all the teachers, Mr Shanahan, Ms Cabanne and I have been involved in Pupil progress meetings which look at the attainment and the progress of your children. It was fantastic to see, that despite the challenging circumstances, our students continue to make good progress and are showing continued resilience and perseverance.
It was wonderful yesterday, to invite our Early Years children in yesterday to visit the campus for an orientation day. The children bounced in confidently to see their teachers and enjoyed an afternoon of playing and exploring with their friends. It was tricky to know who was more excited as the children arrived safely onto campus, the students or the teachers.
As we move into our spring break, it is important that the children get time to rest, a break for working and learning and enjoy other activities such as time off screens, playing in parks and spending time with family. I remain ever hopeful that we receive some good news soon and we can welcome the students back to campus next term.
I hope you enjoy this mixture of so many highlights from across Term 2 in the Primary school to round of the term.
Enjoy the break and stay safe.

As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
