Here are the improvements made since last year’s survey:
- Safety on the School Bus Service: considerable internal monitoring of safety on the bus has taken place which has resulted in extra staff training, rewards for consistently good service, additional safety checks and a non-negotiable rule on the wearing of seat-belts.
- EAL: all class teachers are being trained in TESMC (Teach English as a Second Language in the Mainstream Classroom).
- A central air filtration system has been installed in addition to all classrooms and support rooms having air purification units in operation.
- Covered outdoor games courts: we now have covered outdoor sports hard-courts which offer protection from rain and sun.
- New STEAM facilities: The importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in our school is being raised even further with a brand new STEAM room, equipped with the latest technologies.
- New Dance Studio and specialist Dance Teacher appointed from Aug 1st.
- Additional staff appointed to enhance language provision: an additional MFL teacher for French and Spanish started at the start of the academic year in addition to us enhancing provision for our Korean community with an additional Korean Teacher and Korean Liaison Officer starting at the same time.
- Appointment of Food Safety Officer to enable regular inspection of our kitchen facilities to the ensure the best hygiene regulations are followed.
The results from the survey will inform our strategy for continuous improvement. Therefore, the more parents we hear from, the more confident we can be that our action plans respond to your views.
The survey will take around 10 minutes and for your convenience, there are some ways you can complete it, for example:
