From the academic year 2018 – 2019 until now, we have made some positive changes and new additions to our school that you might noticed already. These changes have been made following the opinions and suggestions made in the last Parent Satisfaction Survey and have been done to create better education for our students.
Many of our students have been developing new computing skills from subject specialists in the primary school and our first cohort of computer scientists have comfortably sat their final IGCSE exams.
A team of 6, Year 7 students: Quynh Anh, Noah, Kanta, Bao Linh, Tuong Anh and Ky Lam entered the World Scholar’s Cup, the first round of which was held last weekend. The team were very successful and are now through to the second round in Kuala Lumpur which will be held W/C June 18th.
School libraries should be places of opportunity; learning hubs where students can access the latest information, helping them to succeed in a global, competitive economy.
To show our gratitude towards the thrilling experiences that KOTO provided us for the past months, we have decided to operate multiple fundraising events at British International School Hanoi to help KOTO prepare surprise Christmas presents for their trainees, according to the trainees’ wish lists.
Next week is going to be an important one for all of our British International School Hanoi students. All students in the school will be presenting for either internal or external exams. There will be lots of revision sessions taking place this weekend but students need to keep a sense of perspective and manage their wellbeing, too.
