Message from Assistant Head of Primary

At BIS Abu Dhabi, we are proud to have a team of world-class teachers who are deeply committed to ongoing professional development. By hosting this event, our teachers had the invaluable opportunity to engage with leading experts, network with peers, and participate in over 90 professional development sessions. These sessions, delivered by many of our BIS Abu Dhabi teachers, as well as educators from schools across Abu Dhabi, explored five key strands:

Leadership: Equipping leaders to drive impactful change.
Pedagogy: Inspiring innovative and effective teaching strategies.
Pastoral, Inclusion, and Wellbeing: Supporting the holistic development of every child.
EdTech: Leveraging technology to transform learning experiences.
MoE Teaching and Learning & National Identity: Deepening connections to UAE culture and Ministry of Education priorities.

We are confident and excited that the knowledge and skills our teachers gained during the conference will have a direct and positive impact on our students. The dedication of our teachers to continuously refine their practice ensures that BIS Abu Dhabi remains at the forefront of educational excellence.

This event highlighted the collaborative spirit of Abu Dhabi’s teaching community and reinforced our shared commitment to providing the very best for our students.
