Dear Parents,

I am thrilled to share the exciting events that unfolded at our school, starting with our school coming together this week to celebrate World Children's Day and House Day. The atmosphere was one of unity, inspiration and positive action, creating a memorable experience for all.

Our school's strong partnership with UNICEF took centre stage during the celebration. Students actively engaged in discussions about Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, contemplating ways our school community can contribute to making the world a better place for children worldwide. The vibrant display of unity was evident as students proudly wore their house shirts and added a touch of blue, symbolising our commitment to the cause.

Another highlight of the week was the active participation of our Secondary students and four brave Year 6 students in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference at BIS Abu Dhabi. Witnessing our students passionately discuss a resolution on the critical topic of child refugees was genuinely heartening. A special commendation goes out to all the students involved in the MUN CCA for their dedication and enthusiasm, which undoubtedly made a positive impact.

Thank you to all the staff, organisers, and organisations that played a pivotal role in the success of World Children's Day and the MUN conference at our school. Your collective efforts and commitment have left a lasting impression on our students, instilling a sense of responsibility and empathy.

As we strive to create a better world for children, let's carry the spirit of World Children's Day and the success of the MUN conference throughout the year. Aligning closely with our school values of honesty, kindness, and respect, together, we can make a meaningful difference!

Congratulations to our U19 BSME team for their commendable third-place finish in the games in Kuwait. Well done to the team, and thanks to the staff who made it happen.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community.
