Sustainability with Social Studies and Islam
Last week, we had a very special visitor come to school to deliver some training for our Social Studies and Islamic teachers. Dr. Haïfa Ben-Romdhane -Environmental engineer, Marine scientist and researcher delivered a very hands on training opportunity whereby colleagues were introduced to the Sustainable Development Goals and Cop 28 vision.

Here at BIS Abu Dhabi we are committed to making the world a better place, and students will now have a very clear focus in their Social Studies and Islamic lessons about how they can contribute to the UAE's sustainability goals for the future.
 
I huge thank you to Dr. Haïfa Ben-Romdhane and Mrs. Mai Mahmoud for organising this wonderful event.

IB Results The British International School Abu Dhabi students among the world's highest achievers

Students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at The British International School Abu Dhabi once again performed significantly above the global average.

A total of 76 students at The British International School Abu Dhabi studied for IB exams this year. As well as achieving an outstanding pass rate, the students ’ average score was 33.6, exceeding the global average of 30.32.
