We are hiring - Exam Invigilators
The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to provide invigilation for external examinations at the school.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Exam Invigilator you will be responsible for:

  • Helping to set up the exam room prior to students arriving
  • Distributing exam materials to candidates
  • Supervising the exam for the duration of the scheduled time
  • Returning all exam materials to the Exams Officer at the end of the allocated time

An ideal candidate will:

  • Be reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods
  • Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Be confident and have a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms
  • Be able to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people
  • Have basic IT skills (familiar with use of email, mobile phone messaging etc.)

Previous experience is not essential as training in the role and duties of an invigilator will be provided. For full job description click here.
