While Year 3 built boats, Year 6 students based their Maths Day learning on their current topic of shapes.
Students built a catapult, and used their knowledge of angles to focus on the correct trajectory. They also created nets of 3D shapes to build a defensive wall that would best protect their team’s egg. Each team took turns to fire a ping pong ball at their opposition in order to crack the opposing team’s egg.
