The day allowed students the opportunity to experience lessons taught by Secondary staff including English. There were some excellent interactions and the students participated with great enthusiasm - completing Science, Humanities, English and even Drama.
With COVID restrictions requiring this progression day to remain virtual, our Secondary teachers prepared some very engaging activities for them to complete in the online space.
There was a buzz around the Secondary corridors as teachers discussed the impressive way Year 6 students demonstrated their knowledge and inquiring minds.
With the end of year quickly approaching, Year 6 parents and students are invited to join a celebration assembly looking back on Year 6, and the journey the students have been on throughout Primary.
This is an exciting time where the students can celebrate their achievements throughout the year. The celebration assembly will be taking place virtually on Monday, 28th June at 4:30pm. A link will be shared with parents closer to the time via email.
Last week, Mrs. Stanier, our Head of Humanities, had the pleasure of accompanying three of our amazing students: Tia and Renad from Year 12, and Turkan from Year 10, to Houston, Texas, to take part in the NAE UNICEF summit. We were thrilled to be hosted by one of our Nord Anglia schools, The Village School in Houston, the first Child-Friendly City in the US recognised by UNICEF. The Village School is a boarding school, so the students got to experience what life was like as a boarding student there for the week.
