Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
UPDATE 25th May:
Thank you to all parents for the wonderful response for the upcoming Community Coffee Mornings. It was great to see such a high interest from families to get together with other parents and with senior members of school staff. Both of the Coffee Mornings are now full, however if anybody wishes to be placed on a waiting list in case of cancellations please email Ms. Strickland on: Karen.Strickland@bisad.ae
We look forward to hosting further coffee mornings and events again in the future, and will send out the details as these are confirmed.
After more than a year without us being able to meet in person, this is a fantastic chance to come along and meet other parents, plus hear and share ideas with members of the school leadership team about the ongoing development of our community.
In order to continue to keep our community safe, we are hosting the coffee mornings at the Westin Golf Resort and Spa. All regulations are strictly followed of course, and as such, places are limited to adhere to the necessary guidance.
To give more parents the opportunity to come along, we will run the event on two separate occasions. The event is free to attend and places are available on a first-come, first-served basis by registering below. Please only reserve a place at one morning to give others an opportunity to attend:
We are very much looking forward to be able to meet together again!
The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi) was deeply honoured to welcome Her Highness Sheikha Shamma Bint Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan to its campus on Thursday, 17 April 2025. Her Highness, President & CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) and The Climate Tribe, is a distinguished entrepreneur, thought leader, and researcher with a deep commitment to sustainability, climate change, and gender equity.
At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
