Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
This exciting development sees the BISAD Diploma move fully online and, as a result, become much more accessible for all our students in the form of our new BISAD Diploma App. It is now available across multiple digital platforms, enabling students to upload their wonderful achievements at home, in school or on the go at the touch of a button!
Why is the BISAD Diploma so important?
We believe that the BISAD Diploma creates a unique opportunity for BIS Abu Dhabi students to develop the personal attributes and characteristics for future leadership and success. Students start their journey from their first steps in Primary School, and continue all the way through to the IB Diploma Programme.
As students progress through the school, these essential life skills become second nature, and when writing their first CV or applying for their first job, they will have an extensive record of what really makes them truly exceptional beyond their academic achievements.
With the new BISAD Diploma App, going for 'Gold’ status, and achieving each of the nine Category Award milestones has become even more simple to display.
We can’t wait to see what our students submit next...
Download the App on the Apple App Store, Google Play, or through the BIS Abu Dhabi Parent App.

The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi) was deeply honoured to welcome Her Highness Sheikha Shamma Bint Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan to its campus on Thursday, 17 April 2025. Her Highness, President & CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) and The Climate Tribe, is a distinguished entrepreneur, thought leader, and researcher with a deep commitment to sustainability, climate change, and gender equity.
At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
