Our Year 5 Arabic B students have been learning how to talk about different kinds of fruit. During the last 2 weeks, the students have researched in Arabic and learned how to make a fruit salad. The students proudly made their own dishes, and then enjoyed presenting them to their class using Arabic words and phrases that they had learned.

Sometimes, it’s the hardest thing in the world — to watch them take these big steps, to stay strong when they wobble, to let go just a little more. It’s a milestone for us as much as it is for them — and we’re walking it together.
