As mentioned in previous communications, there is now a reduced capacity on school buses in order to maintain social distancing. The request from the school and from ADEK is therefore for people to please use private transport to get to school if you can. We do fully understand however this is not always possible and therefore will be providing a bus services for those who need it so that students are able attend school. Bus fees will only be charged to those who use the service.
Registration for the school bus service is now live: please click here to go to our school bus provider’s website to register. Please note that registration via the link is necessary for both new students and former bus users.
The following short tutorial videos will guide you through the registration process:
All buses will be operating fully in line with all health and safety guidelines as published by ADEK and the Department of Transport.
We understand the current situation is open to change. If you choose not to use the bus service initially it will be possible to opt back in to the school bus service later in the term subject to availability.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on bisadbus@shanawazgroup.com.
Last week, Mrs. Stanier, our Head of Humanities, had the pleasure of accompanying three of our amazing students: Tia and Renad from Year 12, and Turkan from Year 10, to Houston, Texas, to take part in the NAE UNICEF summit. We were thrilled to be hosted by one of our Nord Anglia schools, The Village School in Houston, the first Child-Friendly City in the US recognised by UNICEF. The Village School is a boarding school, so the students got to experience what life was like as a boarding student there for the week.
