Admissions are now open for 2025/2026
In order to enable more students to be able to access after-school CCAs, we will be continuing to offer a CCA bus service during the Academic Year 2019-2020. The service will be to 5 central drop-off locations as below:
Route F - Al Zeina (Waitrose Supermarket)
These services will only be offered on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays, leaving school at 4.15pm. Drop off times will be communicated to all users who sign up, as soon as they are calculated. Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer a door-to-door service at this time of day. However, we hope the central drop-offs will be convenient for parents in key locations in the city. It is the responsibility of parents to collect their children at the drop off point at the correct time.
The cost will be AED 175 per child, per CCA, per Term. Please note that should there be insufficient demand for a route then this route may not be able to run. Should a route be over-subscribed then we will put on additional buses.
If you would like to enrol your child on one of these CCA buses, please click on the link below and complete the required information:

The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi) was deeply honoured to welcome Her Highness Sheikha Shamma Bint Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan to its campus on Thursday, 17 April 2025. Her Highness, President & CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) and The Climate Tribe, is a distinguished entrepreneur, thought leader, and researcher with a deep commitment to sustainability, climate change, and gender equity.
At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
