Sustainable Cities Architecture and Design Project in Partnership with Abu Dhabi University
Last week, Year 6 had the honour and privilege of exhibiting their project work at the Abu Dhabi University. There was a real buzz in the atmosphere around what the students had achieved and learned during this collaboration with the College of Engineering and Architecture and Design departments. With professors, lecturers, teachers, parents and students all mingling together discussing the wide range of work on display was a pleasure to witness. The enthusiasm and ability to articulate the learning process by our students was also something to be proud of.
Part of being sustainable is about developing social relationships and this was certainly the case during this project. Mr Apostolos Kyriazis, a member of department of Architecture and Design, was able to bring the collaboration together and form strong a relationship between the University and our school. Watch the space for future ambitious collaborations with Abu Dhabi University!

Schemes of work were created for FS1 to Year 9 and all PE teachers received professional development training to understand the fundamentals of Dance, to discover the importance of Dance, and how movement can be creative and powerful.
