This year, we will continue to share staff profiles to get to know members of our school family a little better. Each week we will feature a member of staff across all areas of the school including teachers, admin staff, support staff and more. This week we focus on Jenifer Alor, Falcon Academy Sports Coordinator.
I have been with BIS Abu Dhabi since 2012, this was my first job when I arrived in the UAE. Over the past 7 years, I have worked as a Support Assistant, a Senior Receptionist and now I am the Falcon Academy Sports Coordinator. Being a Sports Coordinator is an exciting and challenging role where I do the best that I can to facilitate the efficient operation of the Competitive Sports and CCA Programmes whilst providing general administrative and clerical support to the department.
I was born in Mandaluyong, Philippines the new Tiger City in Metro Manila. Tiger City has several man-made places that will certainly be of interest to visitors and tourists alike.
I have been married to Jonathan since 2011 and we have one lovely daughter Nikka, she is 11 years old and in Grade 5. Leaving my family back in the Philippines is very hard but we need to make these sacrifices for our future.
In my spare time I like to relax and watch movies at home, thriller and sci-fi movies interest me most. Sometimes I chill by listening to my favorite music while playing on my iPad.
