Last year, 9 boys performed in the Voyage production. However, this year we are extending the provision for boy’s dance. There are 10 places per year group for students who would like to be part of the project. The project is ‘Dance in a Day’. Students will work with Nadar Musharbash in a 1-hour workshop followed by choreography tasks and activities with Mrs Heptinstall – Lowe, to create a piece of work that will be showcased in the annual production. This is an amazing opportunity to work with such a talented and well-known choreographer.
Nader Musharbash has worked with world famous artists such as Rita Ora, Beyonce and Pink as well as major TV productions: X Factor UK, BRIT Awards and MTV Awards. Nadar brought his Hip Hop chorography for students to learn at the BSME Dance Festival in 2018 and 2019. He is very popular and will work the boys intensively. If students in Year 5 – Year 8 are interested in taking part in the project, please read the letter attached for further details.

At The British International School Abu Dhabi, we believe that education is not just about academic success—it’s about nurturing compassionate, responsible young people who understand the importance of giving back. This Ramadan, I have been truly moved by the way our students have embraced the spirit of the holy month, demonstrating kindness, generosity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Inspired by the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article exploring why the Early Years are the most important years of a child’s education, we know that a child’s most significant learning happens during this time - in ways that are not always immediately visible.
