The British International School Abu Dhabi would like to invite families interested in joining the school to our Foundation Stage (FS) Open Day. Held on Monday 15th January at 8am, it will be a fantastic opportunity to find out more about our Early Years offering, tour our dedicated FS facilities, and have your questions answered by our Early Years practitioners.

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Our teaching is based on the 2012 English National Foundation Stage curriculum and is delivered through a multi-sensory, play-based approach. Our students sing, dance, go on trips, prepare delicious and healthy food, swim, experiment, paint, read, use construction toys and generally have a wonderful time.

We maximise our wonderful Foundation Stage playgrounds which act as an extension of the classroom to expand the range of activities students may access on a daily basis.

Early Years Entry Requirements

We follow the UK entry system, whereby to enter Foundation Stage 1, a child needs to be 3 years old on or before the 31st August of the joining year. To enter Foundation Stage 2, a child needs to be 4 years old on or before the 31st August of the joining year.
