The Holy Month of Ramadan is expected to commence on Saturday 27th May 2017, subject to moon sighting. We would like to announce our school timings during Ramadan 2017:
School hours will be 8.15am – 1.45pm, with FS collected at 1:30pm.
Gates will open at 8:00am, with Primary students lining up in the playground as usual. They will go into school at 8.15am for registration. Secondary students will make their way into school on arrival.
Primary students can be collected from the playground at 1.45pm while FS students can be collected from the classroom at 1.30pm. Secondary students will leave classrooms at 1.45pm.
Buses will leave the school at 2:00pm.
Please note there will be no late pickup during this period, so please ensure your child is picked up on time.
Owen joined the BIS Abu Dhabi family in 2017, starting his journey in Year 7. After three memorable years at the school, she has graduated with an impressive score of 39 out of a possible 45 points in the IB Diploma Programme. This outstanding achievement is a testament to her dedication and hard work.
Students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at The British International School Abu Dhabi once again performed significantly above the global average.
A total of 76 students at The British International School Abu Dhabi studied for IB exams this year. As well as achieving an outstanding pass rate, the students ’ average score was 33.4, exceeding the global average of 30.32.
