Today I had the biggest surprise ever! I was astonished when I found out that I was a final winner in the short story competition on Global Campus. I was totally overwhelmed with joy when our Assistant Head of Primary, Mrs Hannah Naowasuk, broke the news to me!

During the week, the girls shadowed some of our Year 9 students (some of whom had visited VDJS before Christmas in a Regents Exchange to India) and experienced a typical school day at Regents and an interesting trip to Arts in Paradise.
This year’s literary festival was a roaring success with our students going from strength to strength. There was a series of events arranged and hosted by the English and EAL Department. In Year Group assemblies, students had to match the picture of a book shelf, or ‘shelfie’, to the teacher. What does what we read say about us?! This year’s film night of ‘The Maze Runner’ drew the largest crowd to-date.

Alex from Year 10 is one of the Regents' very talented sportsmen and together with the team of his fellow sailors, Alex will be representing the Regents International School Pattaya in the upcoming Fobisia Sailing Championships 2016 held in the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in March 9th - 12th 2016.
