Regents International School Pattaya had nine finalists in the Global Campus Visual Arts Competition, more than any other school in the Nord Anglia Education group. Amongst our finalists was the overall winner, Elina Smyth.
As part of its unique Juilliard collaboration, Regents International School Pattaya will welcome Mr Andrew Wangemann on 30th May to share his joy for percussion with Primary and Early Primary pupils.
The final performance last night of this year's secondary production was a most rewarding experience for performers and audience alike, and provided yet another reminder of the extraordinary talents and courage of the students of Regents International School Pattaya.
The Regents International School Design & Technology Department and Jack Daly, a Year 9 student, were very busy over the Christmas holiday designing and making a retro styled PAC-MAN themed, arcade machine to use to run a number of exciting retro game competitions to raise money for Women with a Mission, an important local charity and a service project supported by Year 10.

On Wednesday 30th November, at 5.00pm, an audience were taken on a mysterious visual and auditory journey consisting of music, singing, movement and design inspired by Complicite Theatre Company. This IB Theatre performance examination requires students to devise an original piece of theatre whilst collaborating and taking risks.

Drama students at Regents International School Pattaya have been exploring the fascinating development of mask theatre. The Trestle mask technique complements the students’ study of the plain white neutral mask and the anarchic world of Commedia dell Arte where characters wear half-masks and are allowed to speak! It is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome back Kathryn Andersen to Regents International School Pattaya for the start of the second year of her visits as part of the unique Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme. Kathryn is a violinist from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She received her Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University. She studied with Ronald Copes, Peter Zazofsky, and James Buswell.
Regents International School Pattaya's exceptionally skilled brass teacher, Mr Clarence Mansell demonstrated his musical talent to Year 7 students by not only playing each brass instrument in the Music Department, but playing a tune on a tube, a funnel and a kettle. Needless to say, the students were amazed!
Nord Anglia Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard kicked off this week with students around the world flocking to Geneva, Switzerland to take part in a two-week long programme immersing students in dance, drama and music.
Anyone who attended the 2016 Regents Talent Show and Battle of the Bands was treated to various acts which were jaw-droppingly good in terms of the standard of creativity, musicality and showmanship
On Wednesday our Music staff and students were treated to a rare opportunity to have Michael Shinn and Jessica Shinn visit our school. Both Michael and Jessica are Juilliard alumni, which is why we had the privilege of hosting them due to our collaboration with The Juilliard School.
This has been another highly successful year for LAMDA students in Secondary with 27 candidates entered resulting in a very encouraging set of results, including 16 Distinction, 9 Merit and 2 Pass Grades.
