1 to 5 years old

Early Years Foundation Stage

Our preschool children learn and explore through purposeful play in a stimulating environment. At this formative stage in their education, our caring teachers ensure our children develop key foundational skills, while creating exciting activities that keep them motivated and engaged.

PRIMARY

At PBIS, we offer two primary school programmes: British and International Primary School (taught in English) and Czech British Primary School (bilingual English-Czech). Both pathways feature internationally respected curricula and outstanding learning experiences.

5 to 11 years old

Czech British Primary School Curriculum

Designed for Czech nationals, our Czech British Primary School (Česko Britská Základní Škola) programme teaches the Czech National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum. In small class sizes, students learn in both English and Czech, as teachers tailor each child’s learning experience to their needs, interests and educational objectives.

5 to 11 years old

British and International Primary School Curriculum

Unique in Prague, our pioneering English-language primary programme expertly combines the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Our teachers will nurture your child’s natural curiosity and creativity, and develop their core literacy, numeracy and social skills.

Our secondary school programme guides our students through the transition from primary to their IGCSE exams. Unlocking both academic and personal potential, our curriculum nurtures the skills and knowledge our learners need to successfully progress on to the IBDP. 

11 to 16 years old

English National Curriculum

Our secondary programme spans Key Stage 3 (ages 11 to 14) and IGCSEs (ages 14 to 16), delivering exceptional learning experiences, outstanding academic teaching and unrivalled choice. Your child will follow a tailored curriculum based on their academic strengths and objectives, supported every step of the way by our inspirational teachers.

IB Diploma Programme

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) pushes our students to excel academically, socially and personally. Recognised across the globe, the IBDP is a springboard to the world’s top universities.

16 to 19 years old

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

The two-year IBDP is a challenging and rewarding programme for students in Years 12 and 13. Our young people study six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts. Three of these groups are taken at higher level and three at standard level.
