Students, teachers, parents and school community members at The British International School, Ho Chi Minh City are celebrating exceptional results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for the 2020/21 academic school year. The best IBDP results so far in the history of the school.
BIS HCMC achieved a pass rate of 100%, with a remarkable 6 students achieving a perfect score of 45 and a further 18 students celebrating a near perfect score of 44. The average score was an outstanding 40.4 out of 45 points, well above the IB global average of 33.02. The school and its student body were particularly thrilled with 68% of its students achieving a score of 40 or greater out of 45, whilst the world average is only 9%. This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.
These incredible results certainly widen the gap between BISHCMC school and many other IB schools in Vietnam, Asia, and around the world. These results showcase the difference that an education at BIS HCMC has on academic results for Vietnamese and International students from all over the world. BIS HCMC believes there is no limit to what students can achieve socially, personally and academically. For more information visit our IBDP Results page.
